Today, ascend into Ladakh’s dramatic north, crossing Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes—an achievement experienced in complete comfort.Beyond the pass, the landscape transforms into Nubra Valley, a cold desert where sand dunes, glacial rivers, and distant Karakoram peaks coexist.

 Diskit Monastery - the oldest and largest Gompa in Nubra Valley - famous for its beautiful architecture, intricate frescos and profound wall paintings. Bask in the Buddhist vibrations of an ancient monument that tells of a peaceful and prophetic culture and admire the artwork that has adorned these walls for aeons.

Hunder Sand Dunes

Explore the famous sand dunes of a high-altitude desert along with shaggy Bactrian Camels and a variety of adventure sports such as sand boarding, ATV rides, camel rides and Ziplines. The silvery sand dunes of Hunder are symbolic of the surreal beauty that can be seen in these parts.

DAY 5: ENROUTE TO THE WORLD’S HIGHEST SALTWATER LAKE – PANGONG TSO VIA SHYOK RIVER (5-6 HOURS DAY TRIP/220 KMS):

Wake up early to set your foot forward for the day’s adventure and the beauty of Pangong Lake. Grab the packed breakfast and enroute to the world’s highest saltwater lake via Shyok River.

Located at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) above sea level, you will see a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometres at its widest point and over 130 km long. It is bisected by the international border between India and China and was closed to the general public. Luckily, a few years ago, the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding

Hanle in changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautifully chanting, calm and soul loosing places in India. Hanle has a lovely hanle monastery offering some great aerial views of whole village that is a home of about 1000 people. Hanle monastery is a 17th century monastery of the Drukpa lineage. The views from the top of monastery are just breath taking. Hanle is also house an Indian astronomical observatory which is the world highest observatory in the world at a staggering height of 4500 mtrs. Overnight in hotel.
